RCHS is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit No-Kill Animal Shelter

Randolph County Humane Society is a 501(c) 3 private, non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare and care of homeless, abandoned or neglected animals in Randolph County. We provide shelter, food and medical care to the many animals each year that come through our doors. We are a limited space shelter, and will do our best to get your animals placed or put onto a transport to another no-kill facility, but we ask for your patience while we do so. We shelter and provide care to every animal in need that comes through the doors of our Animal Control officers or that come directly thru the doors of the Randolph County Humane Society.

Beyond the basics, every animal receives compassionate care from our staff and volunteers while they are waiting to be united with their families while in animal control or on their way to finding a new home. Warm blankets, toys and treats, and socializing are all a part of the day-to-day duties that Randolph County Humane Society gives the animals each and every day.

The Randolph County Humane Society main objective is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of overpopulation of dogs and cats and teach the owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets into good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us while they wait for the forever home that will give them a lifetime of love a care.
