This special little girl has had a hard time. She was noticed living on the streets by herself for at least 2-3 months. She learned through out this time that not all humans can be trusted. She was chased daily by both other animals and kids. She was noticed by an angel who started leaving her garage door open just a tiny bit so Reece would have a safe haven. We are unsure what horrors this dog has seen or what was done to her while she was just trying to survive. She was taken into the shelter and was so scared it was thought she may suffer some damage if left there so she went into foster care. After a short time she is starting to remember that some people are nice and is beginning to be happy again. After the first day in foster she knew she was safe and slept for about 12 straight hours and started relaxing. It took a few more days for her to trust us enough to eat the food that our other dogs enjoyed freely. She is a bit leery of strangers to this day but is quick to warm up. Reece is not much of a barker but will let you know when someone is at the door or comes in. If you are interested in adopting Reece please email sevans.rchs@gmail.com. incomplete adoption applications. Please be respectful and sensitive to our time we give to these animals and our mission to save lives.
Adoption fees, homechecks, and references are required. ALL of us
at RCHS work very hard to save these precious lives, and our only pay we get as volunteers, is a GOOD HOME LIFE for them, we all are volunteers, so please be patient and considerate of our time and responses.
