Delilah & Dolly are part of an older litter rescued in rural Scott county.  Their mother had been dumped before giving birth to her pups.   For months they roamed a thousand acre farm.   Feeling sorry for them, the farmer bought food and fed them, when they visited in the evening.   Eventually, an angel heard about their plight, when once again, momma showed up pregnant, and gave brith to a second litter.  She went into action and found us willing to help.  We took the second litter, and got them into forever homes.   We didn't desert  momma and her first litter either.  As soon as we were able, we brought momma and her older babies to safety.   They are all in foster care, and once again, we have a momma with heartworm.  She has been treated, and now we wait and wait, to see if she is going to be cleared from it. Delilah & Dolly are very sweet natured girls.   They would love their very own home where they wouldn't have to dodge cars or bullets. ****  Any Incomplete Pre-Adopts will not be considered,  We are Volunteers and our time is very important to us also and we cannot waist it on  incomplete adoption applications.

 Please be respectful and sensitive to our time we give to these animals and our mission to save lives.

Adoption fees, homechecks, and references are required. ALL of us  at RCHS work very hard to save these precious lives, and our only pay we get as volunteers, is a GOOD HOME LIFE for them, we all are volunteers, so please be patient and considerate of our time and responses.
