Rocky was dumped inside a rural pet department store.   His owners tried to get an adoption group that was there, for an adoption day, to take him.   They would not.  So his owners simply walked out, leaving him behind.   We received a call for help from the store, and we stepped up to help this homeless boy.   Turns out, he was heartworm positive, probably why he was dumped.   Rocky has been fully vetted, treated for heartworm, and he is ready for his forever home.  Rocky has the usual traits of a Husky.   He is independent, somewhat stubborn, but loves going for walks, and would absolutely love being with a runner.  He is friendly with other dogs, as well.   If you would like to bring Rocky to your home, and are not familiar with the breed, please do research on the breed.   We don’t want him to lose another home.  Please contact Ann at colliegal45@hotmail.com  and ask for an application.

Adoption fees, homechecks, and references are required. ALL of us  at RCHS work very hard to save these precious lives, and our only pay we get as volunteers, is a GOOD HOME LIFE for them, we all are volunteers, so please be patient and considerate of our time and responses.
