Heidi was rescued at the vet office, where her owner had left her.   After being in the home since she was a puppy, without warning, their shepherd attacked Heidi.  While she was not badly wounded, it was enough it traumatized her terribly.  From that point on, Heidi could not be with the shepherd.   She was confined to either the backyard or her crate, and life was not what it used to be.  Wanting a better life for her little girl, her owner surrendered her.  Heidi was once housebroken, but now has regressed.  She is now afraid of other dogs, and is terrified of small children.   An obedience class, where she could be socialized and gain self confidence is a must for her.  Heidi has been spayed, vaccinated and is micro-chipped.  For more info on this adorable dog, contact Ann at colliegal45@socket.net or call 573-756-2237

****  Any Incomplete Pre-Adopts will not be considered,  We are Volunteers and our time is very important to us also and we cannot waist it on  incomplete adoption applications.

 Please be respectful and sensitive to our time we give to these animals and our mission to save lives.

Adoption fees, homechecks, and references are required. ALL of us  at RCHS work very hard to save these precious lives, and our only pay we get as volunteers, is a GOOD HOME LIFE for them, we all are volunteers, so please be patient and considerate of our time and responses.
