Opal was rejected by her first owner, and promised to another lady, who "changed her mind", and so she was surrendered to us. Opal is not even a year old yet, and what a rough start, she has had. In spite of all of the rejection, Opal has remained sweet, though she has some trust issues, until she gets to know you. All she needs is a loving owner, with a tranquil home, and no children. She gets along with other dogs, and with cats also. She has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and she is micro-chipped. We are Volunteers and our time is very important to us also and we cannot waist it on
incomplete adoption applications. Please be respectful and sensitive to our time we give to these animals and our mission to save lives.
Adoption fees, homechecks, and references are required. ALL of us
at RCHS work very hard to save these precious lives, and our only pay we get as volunteers, is a GOOD HOME LIFE for them, we all are volunteers, so please be patient and considerate of our time and responses.
