I was adopted, but they sure weren't family.  When I wasn't a cute little kitten any more, they dumped me, for animal control to pick me up.  I was so scared - I'm declawed, and such sweet and  petite girl, I would have never made it on my own!  I was taken in by a nice lady, but her other cats terrorized me, and I was scared all the time.  You'd never know I've been through so much, because you can hold me like a baby.  My name is Whispers, because I have such a quiet meow - you can't even hear it!  Right now, I'm at the South County Petsmart on Lemay Ferry, but I'm hoping to find my forever home soon.  I have a bit of a food allergy, so my new home would have to understand that I need to be on a special food.  If you'd like to know more about me, please contact Karen at k.pacey@sbcglobal.net or call 314-638-5128

Adoption fees, homechecks, and references are required. ALL of us  at RCHS work very hard to save these precious lives, and our only pay we get as volunteers, is a GOOD HOME LIFE for them, we all are volunteers, so please be patient and considerate of our time and responses.
