On a late Sunday night, we received a frantic phone call. A young couple were being evicted, and they had a mama dog, with seven, three day old puppies. Of course we didn't have room for them, but we hurriedly scrambled, and managed to make room, on one side of the garage, complete with whelping box, bedding, and a heat lamp. The time has passed quickly, and now seven beautiful puppies, of mixed origin, are ready for their forever homes. They will not suffer the same fate as mom, who was chained up outside, while she was in season. She will be ready for her home in just a few weeks. Daisy is a sweet, typical puppy, who is happiest when she is playing with littermates, or the newest toy. She has a great personality, and with proper direction, as she grows, she will be a well mannered, companion, for some deserving family. incomplete adoption applications. Please be respectful and sensitive to our time we give to these animals and our mission to save lives.
Adoption fees, homechecks, and references are required. ALL of us
at RCHS work very hard to save these precious lives, and our only pay we get as volunteers, is a GOOD HOME LIFE for them, we all are volunteers, so please be patient and considerate of our time and responses.
