My name is Ivan. Things weren't going well for me not too long ago. I was living with an elderly lady and her very big dog. I didn't care too much for the dog, and I wasn't brushed out very much, and my fur became very matted. It hurt so bad, but I couldn't talk, so I couldn't tell anyone. When a volunteer with RCHS took me in, she saw I was in pain, and I went in and had all my mats taken care of - they shaved me down. Thank goodnes it grows back, because right now, I look a little funny! Don't worry, I'm the most handsome Himalayan you'll ever see, when my hair is long. We are Volunteers and our time is very important to us also and we cannot waist it on
incomplete adoption applications. Please be respectful and sensitive to our time we give to these animals and our mission to save lives.
Adoption fees, homechecks, and references are required. ALL of us
at RCHS work very hard to save these precious lives, and our only pay we get as volunteers, is a GOOD HOME LIFE for them, we all are volunteers, so please be patient and considerate of our time and responses.
