Rusty came to us because the people that had him wanted to euthanize him, because he didn't like the kids, (they teased him), however he gives kisses to my girls and also climbs onto their laps, all he wants is to be respected, (JACK RUSSELL'S ARE NOT MEANT FOR SMALL KIDS, however, he is very sweet but he is heart broke, even though his last family didn't care or love him, he still cries for them daily and it makes us all want to cry at the shelter to hear him howl and shed tears, "now tell me that isn't pure UNCONDITIONAL LOVE" even after his abuse he still cries for them. But now all we want for Rusty is a home that will give him the attention and love he so deserves and needs, he is not mean at all, and needs to trust that he will not get hit or kicked, starved, and thrown into the cold. Rusty has some scars on his face and body from years of abuse, but that will not show if you have love for him in your heart. A FENCED yard is recommend, but he loves to go on walks. Rusty does have AKC papers, (He will be neutered)

****  Any Incomplete Pre-Adopts will not be considered,  We are Volunteers and our time is very important to us also and we cannot waist it on  incomplete adoption applications.

 Please be respectful and sensitive to our time we give to these animals and our mission to save lives.

Adoption fees, homechecks, and references are required. ALL of us  at RCHS work very hard to save these precious lives, and our only pay we get as volunteers, is a GOOD HOME LIFE for them, we all are volunteers, so please be patient and considerate of our time and responses.
