Scarlett came to us emaciated, full of every intestinal parasite possible and heart worm positive. She spent a month on a chain in the yard of a house that her family deserted, before a neighbor finally reported her. She could barely hold herself up but her will was strong. She has been on the mend for months, going through heart worm treatment and steadily gaining weight and her health. Now she is ready for a family who deserves her. Scarlett is very loving and sweet but has lots of learning to do. She needs basic obedience training and she needs to experience normal everyday life. She will need a patient family so she can learn that not everything is scary. Scarlett likes playing with her squeaky toys and spending time with her humans. Scarlett is spayed, vaccinated, micro chipped, and has gone through heart worm treatment. She is looking for a home where she will be treated as an important member of the family, where she will be doted on and trained to be a great companion. A fenced yard and valid vet and personal references are a must. If you think that is you and would like to send in an application contact Pam at p1street@att.net.

Adoption fees, homechecks, and references are required. ALL of us  at RCHS work very hard to save these precious lives, and our only pay we get as volunteers, is a GOOD HOME LIFE for them, we all are volunteers, so please be patient and considerate of our time and responses.
